Dai Kudo, Director of Consumer Products at Hudson Entertainment stated, “Deca Sports DS represents the latest iteration of the social, full-fledged compilation sports experience unique to the Deca Sports brand. Both young gamers and gamers young at heart will have a fun time playing new sports such as cheerleading and rugby alongside classics such as golf and ping pong.”

The DS game is fashioned keeping in mind the original game’s idea of ‘the Everybody Sports Game’. The game provides players with the competitive edge by enabling up to six players to take part via DS Download Play. Gamers can also fashion their very own teams by personalizing uniforms, changing the physical characters of the athletes and even altering their abilities.

Deca Sports DS is slated to unfurl onto store shelves on March 2, 2010. The exact pricing details are not yet disclosed by the company.
