The well received MMORPG, Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning was in the news recently for holding the Rise of the Tomb Kings Live Event which united fans of the game. Now in an effort to spread the franchise across the world, Mythic Entertainment has joined hands with GigaMedia and will launch Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning in Taiwan later in the week.
In the game, players can choose to side with the Army of Order or the Army of Destruction. These opposing armies are in a constant state of conflict with each other. The gameplay offers a lot of variety and depth by featuring modes like Realm vs. Realm and Public Quests.
Jeff Hickman, Executive Producer for Mythic Entertainment stated, “Since launching WAR last fall, we’ve been dedicated to introducing the Warhammer Online universe to gamers the world over. We are pleased to invite Taiwanese recruits into the fight between Order and Destruction – the battle is far from over, so choose a side and join the WAR!”

Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning, developed by Mythic Entertainment, will be released in Taiwan on June 25, 2009. The game will have a monthly subscription rate of NTD 450 (approx. Rs. 670) and an hourly time deduction fee of NTD 5 (approx. Rs. 10). The game will be available in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau on GigaMedia’s FunTown game platform.
