The Bigs 2 is the sequel to the baseball game, The Bigs, and is slated to be released sometime next month. Now 2K Sports has announced that a free demo version of The Bigs 2 is available for download.
The demo can support 2 local players and allows users to play a three inning game in the American League All-Stars or National League All-Stars. It features power ups, player models and the new Batter’s Wheelhouse. Home Run Pinball mode is a feature available in the new Las Vegas venue; this mode allows players to hit home runs into neon signs and building windows.
The Bigs 2 game will introduce fans to a variety of new modes including the Season and Become a Legend mode. It will have pick up and play controls as well as improved player animations and visual effects.
The free demo of The Bigs 2 can be downloaded from the Xbox Live Marketplace while it is expected to appear on the PlayStation Network soon. 2K Sports also plans to release a demo for the PlayStation Network soon. The Bigs 2 game is slated to be released on July 7, 2009, while prices for the game have not yet been announced. The game will be available on Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, Wii and PSP.
