Xbox One is getting this year’s biggest update right now

This year’s first Xbox One software update has been rolled out by Microsoft, and it brings with it a host of new overall improvements to the console’s functionalities, apart from a number of visual changes. A large amount of stability fixes have been introduced by the new release as well, while the syncing of controllers with the machine has been sped up by Microsoft as well. The upgrade can be downloaded now by all owners of the console who have an active Internet connection anywhere in the world.

The Xbox One controller used to previously take around four to five seconds in order to power on, however, it will now take only two seconds to get going. Besides, a fix for issues related to sudden disconnections of the console’s controller has also been included in the update. And then there’s the introduction of Game Hubs which are sort of collages of details related to particular games. Every Xbox One game will have a Hub of its own, where you’ll be able to see which friends are playing it, compete with them on leaderboards, watch the best clips and game broadcasts and much more.
