As we near the much awaited November 6 release date of Halo 4, 343 Industries has decided to keep the excitement floating by revealing the weapons that will form part of the upcoming Xbox 360 game. Along with a few weapons that have already featured in the previous titles, some new equipment also makes its way into the game.
The folks over at Halo Waypoint have prepared a special video vignette for details about these weapons. The assault rifle, the magnum, the battle rifle, the DRM, the rocket launcher and the sniper will all be included within the first-person shooter. Moreover, the much loved Spartan Laser will be made available as well. All of these weapons have been granted some visual changes. The range of new equipment revealed through the video includes a sticky detonator, the SAW which is a heavy machinegun and a new Railgun.
“Despite the majority of them being similar to modern day military weapons, they do have several specialized power weapons that help convey mankind’s progress when it comes to future tech. These include weapons like the Railgun, Spartan Laser, and Sticky Detonator,” read a post on the official Halo Waypoint blog.
This game is all set to become the eighth installment in the massive Halo franchise. Some time back a limited edition console bundle was announced for it. Featuring original art from the title, this pack kicks in the console, a copy of the title, a wired headset as well as two controllers, and is up for pre-order now at 399.99 USD (approx Rs. 22,000). We’ve heard rumors recently which have pointed out that the game’s story will revolve around Dr. Halsey and the Spartan program.
