Halo 4 Limited Edition Console Bundle made official

Well this was expected; it was only a question of when Microsoft would unveil a Halo 4 Limited Edition console bundle. Similar to the ones doled out with Gears of War 3 and Modern Warfare 3, this package too will be priced at 399.99 USD (approx Rs. 22,000), and would come pasted with designs inspired by the much awaited game.

Halo 4 Limited Edition Console Bundle

Apart from an exclusive, custom-designed console with a 320GB hard drive, this set will kick in two controllers, a standard edition copy of Halo 4, a wired headset as well as Xbox Live vouchers for free in-game and avatar marketplace DLC. Apart from custom-designed graphics, the console will also have its ‘ring of light’ in glowing blue color, while even the Xbox Guide button on the controller will bear the same addition.

Moreover, a standalone Xbox 360 Halo 4 Limited Edition wireless controller will be sold by Microsoft as well. The graphics on these will feature United Nations Space Command (UNSC) emblems on their dark grey translucent bodies. Buyers of the controller will receive download codes for an avatar T-shirt. And the glowing blue Xbox Guide button will also be present on it.

Halo 4 Limited Edition Controller

Halo 4 is all set to launch exclusively for the Xbox 360 on November 6, 2012. This newest title in the much loved series is being developed by 343 Industires, rather than series-veteran Bungie, which handed over the reins of the franchise to 343 in June last year. The latter studio has been involved in the development of DLC for Halo: Reach, while it also partly developed last year’s Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary.
