The Bigs 2 is a baseball game and the second installment in the critically acclaimed ‘The Bigs’ series. Now, 2K Sports has announced that the baseball game is available in retail stores across the UK for the Xbox 360 console.
Fans in the UK can look forward to getting their hands on better power ups as they soak in the breathtaking visuals and enjoy some truly world class gameplay modes. The well received game also boasts of having improved ‘pick up and play’ controls along with new player animations.
The Bigs 2 features the Become a Legend mode and the popular Season mode. The Become a Legend mode has players assume the role of a baseball athlete who suffers a career threatening injury. They have to help the athlete make his way back from the Mexican league to the Majors and regain his rightful place amongst the stars of the game. In a bid to attain baseball glory, gamers would have to poach players from other teams and go head to head with MLB legends in boss challenges. The Season mode will feature roster management, stat tracking and full team schedules and will have fans coming back for more.
In the popular Home Run Pinball mode, players can smash mammoth home runs in locations such as Retro Times Square, Times Square, Shibuya in Tokyo and Las Vegas. The Bigs 2 will also feature many new skill based mini games which will allow gamers to test their running, hitting and fielding against some of baseball’s all time greats. Additionally, users can practice hitting Big Slams and executing Legendary Catches in the new Batter’s Wheelhouse.
The Bigs 2 is developed by Blue Castle Games and is now available in stores across the UK for Xbox 360 systems, while exact details on the pricing of the game have yet not been revealed.
