Even though the Japanese market has turned out be tough for Microsoft to crack over the years, they keep on trying to woo the Japanese gamers. The Xbox 360 has not done as well as Sony’s PS3 or Nintendo’s Wii are doing. But now Microsoft has unveiled a new action game, Ninja Blade, for the Xbox 360.
Ninja Blade was showcased at their press conference in Japan by Microsoft. A short trailer of Ninja Blade showcases a ninja character going all over modern Tokyo as he takes on demons. The gameplay apparently seems similar to Ninja Gaiden and Tenchu. The hack and slash game is exclusive to the Xbox 360.
Ninja Blade for the Xbox 360 is being developed by From Software. They have previously worked on games such as Armored Core 4, Tenchu Z and Chromehounds. The action game is expected to be out in 2009 in Japan. There is no information whether the game will be released in western countries.
