Usually massively multiplayer online games are launched for the PC. But Funcom had decided to bring their MMO, Age of Conan, on the PC as well as the Xbox 360. The PC version was released earlier this year but the Xbox 360 version of Age of Conan is yet to come. Now Funcom has spoken about Age of Conan on Xbox 360 and said it will happen soon.
Erling Ellingsen from Funcom spoke with gaming news website Eurogamer.net and explained, “The Xbox 360 version is still very much set to happen and we are working on it. However, there are no dates set, even though we aim for a 2009 release. Our big priority now is, of course, the PC version and fixing the issues with it and improving it for our current players.”
Funcom began work on the Xbox 360 version of Age of Conan in late 2006. However, with the launch of PC version of Age of Conan in May this year, their attention was shifted towards it. Age of Conan PC got some pretty decent reviews by the major publications.
