Gamers love anime but the ones who use Xbox 360 are in for a real treat! According to Hollywood Reporter, Starz Media will add titles for Xbox 360 gamers to download via Xbox Live Marketplace.
Xbox 360 gamers can expect Japanese anime TV shows like Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. Starz Media has signed many new deals and one of them is with Microsoft. Marc DeBevoise is the senior vice president of business development and strategy at Starz. He told Hollywood Reporter, “These deals represent our company’s commitment to expansion in the growing digital media world.”
Besides these Japanese anime TV shows from Starz Media, new movies (in high-def) such as We Are Marshall, Superman: Doomsday and Troy: Director’s Cut and Season 5 of the Family Guy TV series will be available on the Xbox Live Marketplace. Some time ago, Microsoft had put up more anime on Xbox Live.
