Xbox Live to Offer More Anime Downloads Xbox 360 gamers who are connected to Xbox Live always have fun as besides gaming they have access to other downloadable content like movies. Now, Microsoft will be adding a lot of anime-centric content on the Xbox Live Video Marketplace.

Earlier this year, ADV Films had collaborated with Xbox Live to offer content based on amines to the Xbox 360 gamers. Now, two more anime channels, FUNimation and Geneon Entertainment will do the same and present more anime to the gamers. FUNimation will upload episodes from the classic adventure series Samurai 7 as well as other titles including Trinity Blood, Gunslinger Girl, and Basilisk. Meanwhile, Geneon Entertainment will release games such as Akira, Gun Sword, Last Exile, Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo, and Lupin the 3rd.

Besides, the above mentioned anime content, Xbox Live users will be able to enjoy content from Country Music Television as well as Wisecrack, The Big Gay Sketch Show, Noah’s Arc, Curl Girls and Real Momentum Documentaries. Team America: World Police was also added a few days ago. Gamers will be able to watch movies like Dreamgirls, Letters from Iwo Jima, Shooter, Black Snake Moan, and Pan’s Labyrinth.

It is quite a treat for the Xbox 360 gamers as Trinity Blood and Basilisk are some of the best anime series around. Plus they also get to see Letters from Iwo Jima, which is one brilliant movie!
