The Glacier white PS4 is what Sony is calling its new console bundle that will be released in the UK on October 17. Along with a white colored system, this bundle will also play home to a white colored controller, and will be sold at 351.86 GBP (approx Rs 34350). This is not the first time such a colored model of the console is appearing, but it’s certainly the first time that no game is being sold along with it.
As CVG points out, this September saw the launch of a special Destiny bundle that contained the white PS4, whereas the same system was also present in the Driveclub bundle that was introduced earlier this month. And that’s not all; Far Cry 4 which is scheduled for a November release will also be sold in the form of a package containing the white colored console and controller.
The glacier white PS4 is currently being listed by Amazon UK as well as Shopto, and while the former is offering it at the above mentioned price, the latter is selling it a bit cheaper, at 349.85 GBP (approx Rs 34160). Anyway, both these prices are a tad higher than the asking amounts of the console’s black model which has been retailing since its launch in November last year.
October 17 is when hopefuls will be able to lay their hands on the white PS4 in the UK. This console from Sony has turned out to be quite a success for the company, even as it has already managed to surpass the 10 million mark in sales.
