Far Cry 4 is slated for a November release, and Ubisoft is preceding the launch with a flurry of promotional videos as always. The game has received a new trailer which shows Hurk, a returning character seen in the previous FC game, explaining the way the special harpoon gun from the title works. Dubbed The Impaler, this weapon, along with a few extra missions, will be provided to all those pre-order the game.
All the pre-order copies of the regular version on any platform will get converted into Limited Editions that will feature the Hurk content. The character whom we last saw in Far Cry 3 will be seen finishing his quest and finding redemption in this new game. The trailer that can be spotted in the space below has him narrating the brilliant killing capacity of the harpoon gun, and the clip even shows us exactly how it works.
Just like its predecessor, Far Cry 4 will be a first-person shooter action-adventure game that will of course take place in a large open world environment. The game is set in the Himalayan region, and follows the journey of Ajay Ghale, who returns to his homeland of Kyrat to scatter his mother’s ashes, and gets caught in the civil war that’s brewing there. Ubisoft Montreal is heading its development, while other studios under the publisher’s umbrella are assisting as usual.

Far Cry 4 will be released for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC on November 18 this year.
