The PS3 and Xbox 360 look set for some new attire this month as Calibur11 has unveiled for the consoles, new Battlefield 3 themed vaults that are to be released in conjunction with the highly anticipated shooter. These vaults are claimed by their makers to provide the consoles with better airflow and stability.
These units are equipped with exclusive orange light claymores that can be adjusted on 3 modes. A smoke grenade bearing the DICE logo and a cradle for controllers or headsets is also fitted on each of these vaults. A Battlefield 3 logo sits on the lower end of these products. Moreover, the casings apparently do not void the factory warranties of any of the consoles.
The Calibur11 Battlefield 3 vaults for the PS3 and Xbox 360 come outfitted with ventilated and raised casing to apparently provide them with ‘greater cooling.’ Furthermore, these products are also said to endow the consoles with enhanced stability as well as compatibility with other Calibur11 accessories.
Battlefield 3 is slated to release on October 25, 2011. This first person shooter is the eleventh installment in the popular franchise and will be released for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. It is powered by EA’s much touted Frostbite 2 engine which would supposedly make its debut with the game. Battlefield 3 includes both single player and multiplayer modes that will transpire in cities like Paris, Tehran, Sarajevo, Sulaymaniyah, New York, Wake Island and Oman.
The Calibur11 Battlefield 3 vaults will be made available for the PS3 and Xbox 360 on October 25. They can be pre-ordered currently at a price of 89.99 Euros (approx Rs. 4,441) for each of the consoles.
