After the recent announcement of its PS Vita, Sony has announced an expansion to the range of accessories that go along with its PS3 console. The new 3D display and PS3 accessories announced at E3 are aimed at furnishing gamers with a complete 3D gaming experience.
The 3D display is a 24-inch LCD screen with full 1080p HD 3D presentation giving a boost to two-player modes by delivering individual full HD screens to both gamers on the same screen. A full screen view of the game is offered to each person while playing co-op or head-to-head.
The display, which also offers 2D visuals, comes with built-in speakers and a subwoofer. Apart from the PS3, it can also be connected to the PC or cable TV box. It boasts of a super-slim bezel fabrication that is said to have taken inspiration from the PlayStation.
The 3D glasses which go along with the display are specially designed for gaming and have built-in rechargeable batteries. Moreover, the glasses also work with other active shutter type of 3D TVs and displays.
The new Sony 3D display and PS3 accessories bundle consists of a 3D display, two 3D glasses, an HDMI cable and a Blu-ray copy of Resistance 3. It is carries a price tag of 499.99 USD (approx Rs. 22,357).
Resistance 3 The Doomsday Edition pack is best suited for the above features according to the makers. The game which is slated to release on September 6 this year can be bought separately and comes with a PS Move, a navigation controller, a PS Eye and a PS Move sharp shooter for a price of 149.99 USD (approx Rs. 6706).
