MSI had announced its GE600 gaming notebook back in February this year, and just recently the company introduced a new Big Bang mainboard. Now MSI has announced the availability of the new MSI GE600 gaming notebook. At 5.9 pounds, it is the lightest 16 inch gaming notebook to date and features Intel’s new Core i5 processor as well as an ATI Radeon 5730 graphics card.
The GE600 features an ATI Radeon HD 5730 GPU which supports the latest DirectX 11 graphics. This makes the laptop compatible with the most graphics intensive games and also with 3D graphics. The new Core i5 processor helps improve battery life by up to 15 percent while Intel’s new Turbo Boost technology helps deliver overall performance which is better by up to 30 percent.
“The new GE600 is a powerful mobile gaming station that delivers everything a gamer needs to emerge from battle victorious in a lightweight affordable package,” Andy Tung, Vice President of Sales, MSI North America explained.
The MSI GE600 gaming notebook features sporty and stylish body graphics and comes with a 16 inch LCD screen with 1366 x 768 resolution, a 7200 rpm 320 GB hard drive, 4 GB of DDR3 memory and a 6-cell battery as well as Bluetooth connectivity and 64-bit Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium. The laptop is available for a price of 899.99 USD (approx. Rs. 614,165).
