Last month we heard about MSI R5870 Eyefinity 6 graphics card which is capable of driving 6 displays. Now MSI has announced a new Big Bang gaming series mainboard, the MSI Big Bang-XPower. The mainboard is an exceptional one from the Big Bang series and MSI is confident that the piece of hardware will do extremely well in markets worldwide.
The Big Bang-XPower incorporates Military Class components including highly conductive polymerized capacitors, solid capacitors, and ‘Icy Choke’ which give better thermal stability and have a longer lifespan. There Military Class components work better even under high stress conditions.
The MSI mainboard supports both Nvidia SLI and ATI CorssFireX technology for gaming experiences driven by up to four graphics cards. The mainboard allows for extremely smooth graphics, fully anti-aliased image quality, and excellent colour reproduction. The company says that the board has been recommended by THQ for its action shooter Metro 2033.
The MSI Big Bang-XPower mainboard also features a host of other technological advancements including 16 Phase DrMOS PWM, Dual 8-pin CPU Power Connectors, MSI’s exclusive OC Genie and OC Dashboard for overclocking needs, USB 3.0 and SATA 6Gb/s specifications.
