Earlier, we reported that Logitech was getting ready to launch an Adapter which lets its Harmony line of universal remote controls work with the PS3. Now Logitech has announced that the Logitech Harmony Adapter is available in the US and will be available across Europe in July.
The Logitech Harmony Adapter will allow users to control their home entertainment systems, including the PlayStation 3, using the Harmony remotes. The adapter supports all 51 PS3 commands and even lets users turn their PS3 consoles on and off. Now users will be able to remotely control their DVD and Blu-ray disc movies, and navigate the XrossMediaBar (XMB) with relative ease.
The Logitech Harmony Adapter is now available in the US and can be purchased for a price of 59.99 USD (approx. Rs. 2,970). No exact European release date has been announced with the adaptor arriving there sometime in July, while European prices are not known.
