Hitman beta now live on PC, here’s how you can get in

It’s been out on the PS4 for a week now, and the Hitman beta is now ready to be fired up on your PCs. That’s right; the early access to one of this year’s most anticipated games is live now on Steam, but only for those who have pre-ordered it digitally.

This Hitman beta provides you with access to the game’s Prologue which takes place in a ‘secret ICA training facility.’ It has you go back in time and chronicle Agent 47’s first meeting with the ICA. It also shows us the character’s first meeting with Diana Burnwood, his future handler.

The beta will act as an introduction to what will follow with the actual game. It requires an Internet connection in order to work, if you’re unaware. This could be a move on Square Enix’s part to curb the problem of piracy. After all, the data gathered through the beta will be used to fix the bugs in the final game.

As you probably know by now, it won’t be taking the normal approach with its release. Hitman will be out in the form episodes, two of which will be launched on March 11 and the others, as the months go along. By the end of the year, the full game will be ready to play for those who wish to play it at a stretch.
