Lara Croft: Relic Run had received a soft-launch not too long ago, but has now been blessed with a full-fledged release. The mobile game is available for download on Android, iOS and Windows Phone devices through the Google Play store, the Apple App Store and the Windows Phone Store, respectively.
Lara Croft: Relic Run is basically a rehash of Temple Run, except it lets you play as the famous Tomb Raider character. However, the developers of this offering have infused it with a bevy of diverse gameplay mechanics. These include performing parkour moves like wall-running, riding motorbikes and quad-bikes and more.
And that’s not all; this title also has the character making use of different weapons. Boss battles form part of the experience as well, including one with a T-Rex. In addition, this game features leaderboard support and a special multiplayer feature that lets you sabotage your friends’ runs by cursing them.
It kicks in a number of different ancient locations that have their own distinct auras. Lara Croft: Relic Run is of course free to download, but there are micro-transactions involved inside which range from Rs 60 to Rs 3100 per item.
The Tomb Raider series is all set to receive its latest big game later this year in the form of Rise of the Tomb Raider. It will continue telling the story that was started by the 2013 reboot. This title will first be released only for the Xbox 360 and the Xbox One, and will later make its way onto other platforms.
