Need for Speed release date outed unofficially

The latest Need for Speed title was talked about by EA only last week, but the company had stopped short of providing any concrete details regarding this game, let alone its release date information. However, we have now come across an Xbox Games Store listing of the upcoming racer, which is saying that it will be released by the publisher on November 13 this year.

EA had only given us an ‘autumn’ timeframe for its launch, but it seems that the official release date is out now unintentionally. Moreover, the listing in question has also shed some light on what sort of offerings Need for Speed will brign with it for fans of the massive franchise.

It will be set in a nocturnal open world comprising of ‘urban car culture.’ It will feature five different gameplay routes, namely Speed, Style, Build, Crew and Outlaw. We’re not sure what these mean, but it’ll definitely be interesting to find out when EA is ready with the details.

According to the listing which was first spotted by a Reddit user, the narrative of Need for Speed will let you ‘carve your own unique path.’ It will contain overlapping stories, and will need you to gain reputation on your journey to become the ultimate icon.
