Rs 390 can now net you a copy of GTA: San Andreas which will run on your iOS devices. As announced earlier, this much awaited game has finally made its mobile debut, and has brought with it a number of big enhancements which didn’t form part of its earlier versions. Android and Windows Phone versions of it are on the cards as well, but there’s no word at the moment on when they’ll be out.
Devices supported include the iPhone 4s and all the further iPhone models, the 5th gen iPod Touch and the iPad 2 as well as all the further iPad models. Rockstar has revealed that the game even features optimization for the iPhone 5 series and the 4th gen iPad and its successors in the form of dynamic detailed shadows and real-time environmental reflections.
Besides, all the versions of GTA: San Andreas kick in remastered, high-resolution graphics which are augmented by fresh lighting effects, an enriched color palette and improved character models. Furthermore, controller support for compatible devices has also been added to this game.
All those who sign up for a free Rockstar Social Club membership will receive access to cloud saves. Just like GTA: Vice City, the mobile version of GTA: San Andreas too works with dual analog stick-style controls which offer full camera and movement control. These controls are customizable as well.
GTA: San Andreas was originally released as a PS2 game, and its extreme popularity had resulted in Rockstar having launched a number of ports including those for PC, Mac, the Xbox and more. This is the first time however that it’s making its way onto a mobile platform. You can download it through the App Store now.
