GTA Vice City is set in the backdrop of the 1980s American mafia culture, and it was first launched for the PS2 in 2002, following which it made its way to a number of other platforms. Drawing inspiration from its own predecessor, Grand Theft Auto III, it managed to set high standards for the open world genre. The Grand Theft Auto series saw a number of games after this one, but the two main entries were San Andreas and Grand Theft Auto IV.

And now, as we move into 2013, the anticipation surrounding Grand Theft Auto V which is to launch during spring is on an all-time high. This latest entry to the iconic series is set to feature three different protagonists. And its magnanimity can be gauged from the fact that its open world will be larger than those of San Andreas, GTA IV and Red Dead Redemption combined. Meanwhile, as fans wait the long wait for this game to release, they can indulge in GTA Vice City on their iOS and Android devices come December 6.
