Snapdragon GameCommand App to be Unveiled at CES

Touted by many as being a competitor to the Nvidia Tegra Zone, the Snapdragon GameCommand app is all set to make its debut at the oncoming CES event in Las Vegas. This app will be made available through the Android Market on January 10, 2012 and would provide mobile users with quick access to the latest Snapdragon optimized, featured and exclusive games.

Moreover, this feature will also help mobile users in organizing their games, apart from offering latest feeds from top gaming news sites. Over 100 Snapdragon GamePack featured titles will be made available through this app. Moreover, many such games will only be accessible to Snapdragon-equipped devices. These include Fight Game Heroes which offers head-to-head battles with real MMA fighters like Alistair ‘The Reem’ Overeem.

“With mobile gaming proliferating at a blistering pace, apps like Snapdragon GameCommand make it easy for consumers to discover and access the most advanced Snapdragon optimized games. With exclusive and highly-anticipated games like ‘Fight Game Heroes’ and ‘The Reem’ Snapdragon mobile gaming is really starting to heat up,” shared, Dave Durnil, director of advanced gaming at Qualcomm.

Furthermore, other games that will be seen making their way onto this new app include Bunny Maze 3D from Eyelead Software and Desert Winds which comes from Southend Interactive. While the former, involves a bunny who needs to get back his stolen carrots, the latter requires players to don the persona of princess Amira as she battles cruel creatures of the desert in order to save her people.

The Snapdragon GameCommand app is expected to be made available in North America on January 10, 2012. It will be doled out to other territories later.
