Nvidia Tegra Zone reaches the Web

Going the same way that the Android marketplace did not so long ago, Nvidia Tegra Zone has now reached the web. It will in bring the latest gaming news, reviews and more related to Tegra-optimized titles right to the notebook or desktop PC.

Nvidia Tegra Zone Web

Tegra Zone is the place to shop for games built with the Nvidia Tegra 2 processor in mind. So we’re talking about any mobile device which is powered by the said chip, whether it’s a tablet or a smartphone along with a mobile gaming fanatic holding on to it.

Many people may find browsing for games on a PC to be much faster than doing so on a mobile device. The newly unveiled website hosts game reviews, screenshots, HD gameplay videos, developer interviews and other related news. What’s more, it even offers one-click downloads through the Android Market.

Community forums are also part of the site and sharing links with others through social networking services like Facebook or Twitter gets simpler with this introduction. So what about the developers who have to compete for visibility in the Android Market?

Well, the Nvidia folks will try and lend a hand with that. Developers can visit Zone In, the Tegra Developer Zone, tell the company about their apps and hope to see their games listed on Tegra Zone. As least, that’s the word from the official Nvidia blog post announcing the release.

The launch of the Nvidia Tegra Zone website is being celebrated with giveaways, namely five Acer Iconia A500 tablets. Unfortunately, it’s only fans across the U.S. and Canada who can participate in the promo.
