Guitar Hero World Tour New Downloadable Track Packs in February

Guitar Hero fans around the world can get rocking with three new Track Packs spanning various musical genres coming out in February 2009 for Guitar Hero World Tour which was released in October 2008. It was developed by Neversoft and published by Activision and RedOctane.

The three new Track Packs include the ‘Acoustic Track Pack’ featuring Incubus with their alternate rock hit “Drive”, The Shins with “New Slang” and Ryan Adams’ Grammy nominated version of “Wonderwall”. This pack will be available on February 12, 2009.

Ready to be downloaded on February 19, 2009 will be the ‘Wings Track Pack’ which is the second pack and comprises of the three smash hits “Junior’s Farm”, “Hi Hi Hi” and “Jet” from the band Paul McCartney’s Wings.

The third and the most eagerly awaited of the Track Packs will be the ‘Bob Seger Track Pack’. This pack features Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, Grammy winner and Academy Award nominee Bob Seger’s hits, including “Her Strut”, “Old Time Rock and Roll” and a live version of “Get Out of Denver”. This pack will be made available for download on February 26, 2009.

The Acoustic, Wings and Bob Seger Track Packs for Xbox 360 users will be available at the Xbox Live Marketplace for 440 Microsoft Points and for PS3 users at the PlayStation Store for USD 5.49 (approx. Rs. 270). In addition, the songs in each Track Pack will be released as singles to Xbox 360 users for 160 Microsoft Points, to PS3 users for USD 1.99 (approx. Rs. 100) and to Wii users for 200 Wii Points.
