Cancellation of Steven Spielberg’s Mystery Game Denied by EA

Last year, everyone had got excited that Steven Spielberg was going to work on a Wii game. Then earlier this year, we heard that the ace Hollywood director had teamed up with EA and later they announced Boom Blox. But besides that game, there was one more game by Steven Spielberg and EA in the pipeline.

Yesterday speculations arose that the other game, which was codenamed LMNO was cancelled. But it turns out that is not the case as Electronic Arts has come out and denied it. A statement released by EA reads, “Development of LMNO continues at EALA under the creative leadership of Doug Church and Lou Castle.”

Usually gaming companies come out and say, ‘No comment.” But Electronic Arts has clearly assured that the LMNO game by Steven Spielberg is being developed at their Los Angeles studios. LMNO apparently is an action game that will be released for the PS3 as well as the Xbox 360.
