Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands has gotten a dream launch and that’s set to continue with the arrival of its first DLC called Coiled Captors. This is the first of four planned post-launch expansions in the Season Pass and it will be made available for download from April 21 onwards.
Once downloaded, you will be able to access the new content via Dreamveil Overlook, where the fortune teller Vesper awaits you. 2K and Gearbox have revealed that this Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands DLC has a wintery theme and will involve players in liberating an old god from its icy prison.
The Coiled Captors DLC for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands takes you deep inside an icy mountain and that’s where you’ll be tasked with freeing the said god from within the body of a mighty shark-like seawarg. The boss fight will involve players battling four forms of the captive old god called Chums.
What’s interesting is that each new form will initially unlock on a weekly basis, introducing more powerful attacks and abilities. In case the player character dies during any of the battles, they will be thrown out of the dungeon and have to start from scratch.
The makers of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands have said that completing this DLC will mean its content pool will get added to the game’s Chaos Chamber mode. Moreover, there’s new gear and cosmetics to be won here as well.
As we said, Coiled Captors is the first of four planned DLC packs for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. The other three that are to arrive in the coming months are called Glutton’s Gamble, Molten Mirrors, and Shattering Spectreglass. Just like this one, they will be accessible at a discount via the Season Pass or as separate purchases.
