A new faction named Shadow Company is headed to Call of Duty Warzone through Season 5 and trailer showcasing it has just revealed its release date. We now know now that the new season will be made available on August 5 on all three platforms. For those who’ve played Modern Warfare 2, Shadow Company won’t be a new name, as it’s the name of the group led by the villainous General Shepherd.
Although Shepard himself is not part of the trailer, we are indeed introduced to three of the soldiers that will be entering Call of Duty Warzone through Season 5. Rozlin ‘Roze’ Helms, Velikan, and Marcus ‘Lerch’ Ortega are the names of these three soldiers, with the latter among them being their leader. Other details about this upcoming season haven’t been revealed yet. However, we do know what to expect.
A few leaks have pointed that the Stadium will be opened up in Season 5, and quite a few hints of the same have also been dropped by the makers. Moreover, there’s also the possibility of moving trains being added into the mix. But since Activision has chosen to stay tightlipped about it all, we’ll have to wait until August 5 to know for sure.
If you’re out of the loop, Call of Duty Warzone is a free-to-play battle royale game that acts as an expansion to last year’s Modern Warfare reboot. It allows multiplayer combat of up to 200 players in some limited-time game modes. The game features a variety of exciting maps that are large in size, which really adds a lot of depth to the overall experience.
