Hurry! Battlefield games getting free expansions until May 10

Battlefield 4

The unveiling event of a new Battlefield game has been set for tomorrow, and EA is celebrating that by offering free expansions for two other titles from the same series. Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline will be getting free expansions until May 10.

However, this does not mean all the add-ons for these two games are available for free. They only include one for each game. While Battlefield 4 players will be able to grab the Dragon’s Teeth expansion, those who own Hardline will be able to get Robbery for free.

It can be noted that this applies to all the platforms that these games exist on. This is all part of a Road to Battlefield program that is being conducted as we lead into the reveal of the next title from the series, which is likely to be set during World War I according to leaks.

Battlefield 4 was released by EA back in 2013 for multiple platforms. It carries forward the series’ legacy by offering intense military-based first-person shooter action. As for Hardline which debuted just last year, it deviates from this formula and features crime, heist and policing elements instead of the military warfare which the franchise is known for.

Tomorrow, that is May 6 will see the unveiling of Battlefield 5 take place through a special livestream. Tune into it at 4pm ET to know what exactly this game will offer.
