Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has been blessed with a sniper-only One Shot mode

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has just been bestowed by its developers with a new sniper-only mode dubbed One Shot. Introduced along with a double XP event aimed towards it, this multiplayer mode has been designed by Sledgehammer Games in collaboration with a professional gamer named NaDeSHoT. It features decreased health and highly specific classes in order to suit the sniper-only approach which it has taken.

The One Shot mode for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has of course been aimed at sniping enthusiasts, and claims to test their true skills. Each of the five classes gets MORS, a bolt-action railgun sniper, apart from a variety of perks, Scorestreaks and Exo abilities. There’s no sidearm which you’ll be able to carry however. The double XP weekend which its developer announced only applies if you play the new One Shot mode.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is now available for the PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC worldwide. It offers the same first-person shooter experience which fans have become fond of, and garnishes it a futuristic vision on warfare. It has been well received by critics from all over the globe, and its sales have been nothing short of phenomenal. In November Activision announced that the game has become the biggest entertainment release on the year, beating big movies and other games. The publisher has also revealed that the CoD franchise as a whole has generated more than 10 billion USD till date.
