Devs apologize for Halo: The Master Chief Collection matchmaking issues

Ever since the game was launched earlier this month, Halo: The Master Chief Collection has been experiencing serious matchmaking issues which are still to be fixed. While assuring that resolving them is their number one priority at the moment, the developers have apologized to all those who have bought this bundle of past Halo games. Although a patch was released by the company last Thursday, the problems have reportedly not been solved as yet.

The creators of Halo: The Master Chief Collection have disclosed that the issues on the matchmaking front were not expected by them as they were not encountered in their internal test environment. The folks over at 343 Industries have said that they are currently working with the Xbox platform team in order to analyze all the data that’s needed to make the server-side adjustments for improving the matchmaking experience. Hence, over the coming weeks, several server-side updates and patches will be rolled out by the makers.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection happens to be a compilation of remastered versions of Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2, Halo 3 and Halo 4 campaigns as well as the multiplayer modes. It’s meant only for the Xbox One, and sets the stage for the release of the highly anticipated Halo 5: Guardians which will be launched for the same platform next year.
