Far Cry Classic out for download now, Wild Expedition bundle gets delayed

Far Cry Classic, an HD revamp of the first game from the series has hit Xbox Live, and is all set to arrive on North American PSN later today and on European PSN tomorrow. In related news, it has come to light that Ubisoft has delayed the release of the European The Wild Expedition bundle containing all the main games from the series. It will now be launched for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC on February 21. Alternatively, there’s even a Far Cry Compilation which will be hitting North America today. It won’t contain Far Cry Classic, and will be exclusive to the PS3.

Now for the pricing. Far Cry Classic can be picked up for 9.99 USD (approx. Rs 620), whereas the Wild Expedition bundle will be going for 30 GBP (approx. Rs 1,870) for the PS3 and the Xbox 360, and 25 GBP (approx. Rs 1,550) for PC. The Compilation on the other hand, will be priced at 40 USD (approx. Rs 2,490). All three main games from the series and the Blood Dragon standalone expansion of Far Cry are being talked about here.

The FC series has come a long way, with its first game having been released back in 2004. The second entry made its way out in 2008, whereas the third game from the series was released in 2012. The following year saw the launch of its Blood Dragon expansion.

Like we said, Far Cry Classic is out now on Xbox Live, and is set to hit PSN soon.
