BioShock Infinite fans looking forward to extracting more off the much acclaimed game can rejoice, as its makers have at last announced a release date for the first piece of story-based DLC headed its way. Dubbed Burial at Sea – Episode 1, this content had been revealed earlier, and yet has a fair bit of mystery surrounding it especially since it takes place inside the series’ previous setting, the underwater city of Rapture.
First things first; Burial at Sea – Episode 1 will be seen hitting the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC on November 12. It is part of a two-episode chunk that’ll tell a new story revolving around the lives of Booker and Elizabeth. Also, the setting of Rapture too will have something new to show to you, since the story takes place prior to its fall into anarchy. Developers of the game have revealed that you’ll be able to meet up with a known face from the previous game.
In terms of gameplay, all that’s known is that a fresh Plasmid dubbed Icy Old Man Winter, new gear and the capacity to switch weapons from a weapon wheel will be making their way into the Burial at Sea DLC. It will be made available at a price of 9.99 GBP (approx. Rs 1,000). And for those who own the game’s Season Pass, it will be doled out for free.
This 15.99 GBP (approx. Rs 1,600) pass provides access to three pieces of downloadable content, one of which has already been released in the form of the Clash in the Clouds add-on. Like we said, BioShock Infinite’s Burial at Sea – Episode 1 DLC will be out on November 12 for the PS3, Xbox 360 as well as PC.
