August 29 has been announced to be the release date for the Mac version BioShock Infinite which is to be published by Aspyr Media. Gamers eagerly awaiting the launch of the incredibly gripping first-person shooter can look forward to purchasing BioShock Infinite through Steam, the Mac App Store as well as via Aspyr’s very own GameAgent storefront at a price of either 59.99 USD (approx. Rs. 3,650) or 44.99 Euros (approx. Rs. 3,640) depending on their respective regions. Its price in the UK on the other hand will be tagged at 39.99 GBP (approx. Rs. 3,720).

Described by the publisher as North America’s best-selling multiplatform release so far this year, BioShock Infinite is one of the highest rated games of 2013 as well. Its Mac edition will also be bundled with some pre-order bonuses. Those who book their copies of BioShock Infinite on the GameAgent Store and other participating Mac game retailers will be able to get free access to the Columbia’s Finest DLC pack. Included in this bundle are in-game goodies for BioShock Infinite like 500 Silver Eagles (in-game currency), 5 lock picks, six unique Gear items and two weapon upgrades.
