All those big games announced for the Wii U at the E3 might just have one more title to join the list in the form of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. Some leaked scans that are apparently from the Nintendo Gamer magazine have surfaced on web, mentioning that Treyarch’s latest title will be launched for the next-gen console this November.
Eurogamer has unearthed the scans that have been at the root of this speculation. The website reveals that Black Ops 2 has been previewed in the magazine’s upcoming issue. Neither does the article have any new details about the game, nor does it possess any particulars about how the Wii U version would work with the console’s GamePad controller.
The Wii U is still without a release date, but if this article is to be believed then the console might be ready for a November launch. Perhaps, Black Ops 2 might also turn out to be a launch title for the device. This game was unveiled early in May, and saw a live gameplay demo debuting at the E3. The event also witnessed an announcement which confirmed that all of the game’s post-launch DLCs will be coming to the Xbox 360 first.
Black Ops 2 will offer gamers a chance to experience a futuristic setting and make use future warfare technology. The same protagonist who featured in CoD: Black Ops will be seen entering this game. And for the first time in the franchise’s history, branching storylines that will be driven by player choices will be included.
The Wii U version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is still not officially confirmed by Activision, but we’ll bring you more details on this as and when they come out.
