Polish developer City Interactive, has revealed its latest offering named Alien Fear which will be doled out as a digital download through PSN and Xbox Live in the near future. Described by its maker to be an arcade-style first-person shooter, this game involves a setting wherein, every little problem is solved through superior firepower.

The title will run on the Unreal Engine 3 technology and is claimed to deliver visceral and non-stop, run-and-gun action. The combat in this entrant is said to be close quarters based, and places gamers in the shoes of a highly trained elite commando who has to embark on a mission of sabotage. Battles will take place on varied environments. There’s even a co-op mode on offer for those who wish to jump into the fights with their friends.

Prior to this, City Interactive had been involved in the development of various video games for platforms like the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii and DS. It is most notable for its 2010 first-person shooter named Sniper: Ghost Warrior which allows gamers to assume the roles of a number of elite operatives in the military. It comprises single-player as well as online multiplayer modes. A sequel to this game titled Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2, has also been revealed to be gearing up for release later this year.

The developer is yet to provide Alien Fear with a definite release date, but it has been confirmed that it will soon be disclosing crucial details including gameplay features. Its concept art can be seen in the images that we’ve posted above.
