Insomniac Games Uncovers Resistance 3’s Multiplayer Mode

Back in February, Insomniac Games displayed a demo of Resistance 3 at a showing in London. The company has now detailed the Resistance 3 multiplayer mode through a post on the US PlayStation blog. Revelations state that the Resistance 3 beta will soon come ashore to offer players a glimpse of the imminent title.

Unlike the previous iterations’ 40 and 60-player battles, the new multiplayer fold of this game has been compressed to a large extent. Featuring 16-player Human vs. Chimera death match, the upcoming title’s mode has been inundated with objective-based missions through varied locations around the world.

To engineer a gritty and action-packed experience, the game has been embedded with a deep and customizable progression system. It enables players to develop their personal progression paths while they can also customize loadouts by shelling out points. Besides, gamers will have the ability to choose personal as well as combat attributes according to their fighting style.

While attacking the enemy, players can project an illusionary image of their selves to distract opponents. They will also be able to dodge adversaries by exploding a burst of speed. Besides, gamers can select from varying features such as Bubble Shields, Ammo Beacons and Radar Beacons.

Though the company has not disclosed details about the title’s release date yet, the multiplayer PSN beta is expected to arrive later this year.
