Developer Insomniac Games recently unveiled in London a pair of PS3 exclusive titles that are slated to release later this year. According to a post upon the official PlayStation blog, the company showcased a demo of Resistance 3 and Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One as well as new content and levels of the two titles.
The events in Resistance 3 demo are seen unfurling across Haven, Oklahoma where former Sentinel Joseph Capelli is in the hero shoes as he teams up with the inhabitants in order to defend them from Chimeran forces. They have to stall for time as the people of Haven execute an evacuation. A Chimeran terraformer is slowly approaching the city to destroy the area along with all its citizens.
In Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One, the title sees the return of four well-known characters namely Clank, Ratchet, Dr. Nefarious and Qwark. They must embark on a dangerous mission which involves traversing through Seaside Village on Planet Magnus. The fantastic four can utilize various weapons that include the Warmonger rocket launcher and the familiar Combuster.
The upcoming game enables players to merge the same weapon in order to deliver a more devastating attack like the storm-cloud generating Thundersmack. Different weapons and attacks can also be carried out during the course of the game. When one character stuns the foe with the Arc Lasher kinetic energy whip, the other ally can blast it to smithereens by using their own arsenal. The company lets players dive in the game with friends as they solve the mysteries of the Creature Collector.
Resistance 3 and Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One were earlier announced at gamescom and are slated to release around autumn this year.
