One of the best shooters to come out in the recent years besides Gears of War is Unreal Tournament 3. But it has been quite a long time since the game has been released. Gamers have been craving for some new UT3 content for long now! But now Mark Rein from Epic Games has revealed that Unreal Tournament 3 will get a major expansion.
Mark Rein is the vice president of Epic Games. He told gaming news website Eurogamer.net:
“Midway is still very much the publisher of Unreal Tournament 3. In fact, we’re working together on a major expansion to Unreal Tournament 3, that we expect will excite and grow our UT3 customer base which, incidentally, now numbers over a million units sold-through world-wide.”
Though Mark Rein did not elaborate further he clarified that the two mysterious titles cancelled by Midway are licensed properties and not Wheelman. But anyways, coming to the Unreal Tournament 3 expansion, it is great news for the fans. Though there are no details about the platforms, prices or the release dates, lets hope, Epic and Midway gets the UT3 expansion on all the platforms simultaneously.
