After giving the game to US soldiers and bundling keys inside copies of Crackdown, Microsoft has come out with one more way to test the Halo 3. Gamers who play Halo 2 on their Xbox 360 for three hours on February 1, 2007 on Xbox Live will get a chance to beta test the multiplayer mode of Halo 3.
However, only the first 13,333 gamers who sign up on the special page will be allowed to beta test the game. Also this scheme is only for the Xbox Live subscribers in the US. Microsoft has said that players for other regions will be able to use this method a little later.
Anyway beta testing the Halo 3 is out of bounds for the users in Asia. And even the users from US who had earlier signed up on the Halo 3 website are still to find out whether they are selected for the programme.
