While this is indeed not gameplay footage, it does seem to suggest that Street Fighter 6 might opt for more realistic graphics instead of going for the cartoonish look that was adopted by the previous games. However, all will only be clear this summer, when we’re expecting Capcom to showcase the game at this year’s E3.

Street Fighter 6 - Teaser Trailer

Street Fighter 5 was released for PC and the PS4 back in 2016. While it received favorable reviews, its lack of content was indeed criticized. The game’s Arcade and Champion Editions released in the following years solved this and helped it sell 6 million copies worldwide.

It was a console exclusive on the PS4 and never made its way to any other platform apart from PC. it would be interesting to see whether Street Fighter 6 also ends up taking the same route or is it released for Xbox consoles as well.

Meanwhile, Capcom has announced the Capcom Fighting Collection, which is a compilation of ten classic arcade fighting games that will be released for the PS4, Xbox, PC, and Nintendo Switch on June 24. These include Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors, Night Warriors: Darkstalkers’ Revenge, Vampire Savior: The Lord of Vampire, Vampire Hunter 2: Darkstalkers’ Revenge, Vampire Savior 2: The Lord of Vampire, Cyberbots: Fullmetal Madness, Hyper Street Fighter II, Red Earth, Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix, and Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo.

As for Street Fighter 6, we’ll have more on the game when new details are revealed by Capcom.
