New Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Characters divulged at Comic-Con

Just as players were enjoying beating their opponents to a pulp with Marvel vs. Capcom 2 last year, there comes word of the fifth installment into the well-known franchise. Back in April, Capcom and Marvel revealed a new crossover fighting game dubbed as Marvel vs. Capcom 3.

Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds has already received many accolades and is now at Comic Con giving attendees the names of its new additions. The much-awaited title will now feature four new inclusions in its vast roster, two fighters from each company. Capcom’s side offers fans Trish and Chun-Li from the games Devil May Cry and Street Fighter respectively. From Marvel, they can expect Super-Skrull and Doctor Doom to add that extra spice.

The game also boasts of the ultimate 3-on-3 faceoff as well as robust plot, over-the-top fighting mechanics and new methods of gameplay. The company has also embedded three dimensional graphics on a 2D battle arena, heightening the age-old fighting experience. Other characters besides the ones mentioned above are Captain America, Deadpool, and Hulk from Marvel and Ryu, Felicia, Dante and Chris Redfield from Capcom.

Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds is scheduled to unfurl across the Xbox 360 and PS3 by Spring next year. The company hasn’t yet divulged the exact pricing and availability details of the game.
