Aksys Games has announced that Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus has been released for the PS2 and PSP. The game is the latest installment in the series and is said to be one of the most balanced fighters from among similar games. Accent Core Plus sees more than 20 characters return from the Guilty Gear franchise, including Justice and Kliff, in 480p resolution and players will be able to discover for the first time, each character’s story.
“With the inclusion of Kliff and Justice, a brand-new story mode, a re-tuned survival mode, and a team mode, be prepared for long nights of Guilty Gear action,” stated Michael Manzanares, Producer, Aksys Games. “I hope fans of the series will enjoy this title as much as we did working on it.”
Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus has a new story mode designed specially for the game which features a cast of some 25 playable characters. In a revamped Survival Mode, players must fight to survive, utilizing their character’s abilities. Also featured in the game is a Versus Mode in which players can form a three man team.
Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus has been developed by ARC System Works and is published by Aksys Games. So far, no prices have been announced for the game.
