A few months ago, we had reported that Ubisoft would be distributing Soulcalibur IV in the PAL territories. Now they have sent word that Soulcalibur IV will be simultaneously available for the Xbox 360 as well as the PlayStation 3. The game is expected to be out in PAL territories on July 31, 2008.
John Parkes, EMEA Marketing Director, Ubisoft says, “We are excited to be bringing Soulcalibur’s successful heritage to PAL territories as it sets into motion a new level of dynamic gameplay and excellent game graphics on next generation platforms. Offering players an ultimate fighting game experience, Soulcalibur IV will definitely be an owners ‘must have’ in building their game collection library.”
Soulcalibur IV is releasing in North America just two days before it launches in the PAL territories. The game features an exciting lineup of weapon wielding characters, which grows with new fighters. Gamers can expect the legendary Star Wars icons Darth Vader and Yoda in the game.
