The Soul Calibur fighting series from Namco Bandai has usually featured cameo appearances! At the 2008 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Namco Bandai has stated that they are collaborating with LucasArts to bring characters from the Star Wars to Soul Calibur IV.
Darth Vader will feature in the PlayStation version of Soul Calibur IV while Jedi master Yoda will be in the Xbox 360 version of the game. Namco Bandai also showcased some screenshots that indicated Darth Vader and Yoda would be wielding their respective red and green lightsabers. However, they did not elaborate on any other details as to how these characters from Star Wars would fit in the gameplay.
Soul Calibur IV is being developed by Project Soul and will release on the PS3 and the Xbox 360. The game is scheduled to release some time later this year. It would be great if they could get both the characters in both the versions of the game.
