F1 2021 Announced By Codemasters And New Owner EA

F1 2021

EA’s $1.2 billion deal this year means all further Formula One games will be published by it and F1 2021 will be the first one among them. The game has just been announced to be coming with new tracks, modes and it even has a release date of July 16 for fans to look forward to. It’s available for pre-order right now for the PS5, Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

F1 2021 will, of course, come with licenses for all the teams, drivers, and circuits from the 2021 FIA Formula One World Championship. Owners of the PS5 and Xbox Series X and S consoles can also expect to get next-gen visuals and faster loading times.

Three new circuits will form part of the game in the form of Portimao, Imola, and Jeddah. A brand new story mode titled Braking Point will also be making its way into the game, giving you the chance to experience the journey from Formula 2 to the glamorous world of F1.

Meanwhile, Codemasters has updated the game’s Career mode to allow friends to join your career online and play co-operatively or choose a rival team and race against you. Players will have full control over their driving assists in this mode.

Lee Mather, franchise game director at Codemasters, has said, “Braking Point is an exciting innovation that has been years in the making. We are proud to expand the game experience and allow players to live the highs and lows of life in Formula 1 both on and off the track. Braking Point transforms the game and puts players center stage in the greatest racing spectacle on the planet.”
