Twisted Metal fans can rejoice as the upcoming reboot of the popular franchise has gone gold in North America. And what’s more is that each copy of the game will come bundled with a voucher code for a DLC of Starhawk which is slated to release on May 8 of this year.
Starhawk developer LightBox Interactive has crafted this DLC which was revealed yesterday on the PlayStation blog. The Sweet Tooth Outcast Multiplayer skin will come in the form of a download code which gamers will be able to utilize when the title launches exclusively for the PS3. On the other hand, those who pre-order Twisted Metal before its release date will be entitled to an early access to the Axel character as well as a free upgrade to the game’s Limited Edition which comes with a code to download Twisted Metal: Black.

Meanwhile, it has also come to light that this title will be making use of Sony’s online pass for its1 online components. Revealing information about this pass on his blog, designer David Jaffe also disclosed that a small day one patch will also be released for the game in order to fix a few bugs and to address some balance issues.
Twisted Metal will be released exclusively for the PS3 on February 14, 2012. It can be pre-ordered currently at a price of 59.99 USD (approx. Rs. 3,000).
