Mad Riders Speeding onto PSN and Xbox Live This Spring

An adrenaline-fueled off-road arcade racing game is what publisher Ubisoft is calling its newly unveiled Mad Riders which is all set to make its way onto PSN and Xbox Live later this year. Although spring has been announced to be period when it’s scheduled to release, an official launch date is yet to be confirmed by the company.

Mad Riders 1

This offering will be developed by Techland, whose 2011 title, Dead Island was quite a hit among gamers. Being a racing game, it will involve players in stunt events that will take place all around the world. A total of 45 tracks will be made available to them for performing aerial stunts. From what we could gather from this trailer we’ve posted below, it is clear that two-wheeled bikes will not form a part of the title.

It has also been confirmed by Ubisoft that the game will feature offline as well as online racing modes. Competitive features and leaderboards would be made available to those who purchase this title upon its release. Furthermore, its intuitive drop-in system allows players to partake in three multiplayer modes that are playable for up to 12 players.

Mad Riders 2

Techland’s previous outing came last year with the zombie-slaying madness called Dead Island. This first-person survival horror title was released for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, and features an open-world gameplay that is filled with quests and different combat options.

Mad Riders is still to receive its release date and pricing information. We’ll keep gamers posted about all the latest developments around the game.
