Shift 2 Unleashed Set to Feature Pagani Huayra

In late 2010, the gaming domain was stormed with the early wave of fast-paced driving action as EA doffed the covers off its Shift 2 Unleashed Limited Edition. The company has now announced that the game will sport the newly unveiled Pagani Huayara. The disclosure also states that the NFS circuit too will boast of the car later this year.

Touted to be the year’s most remarkable supercar, the Pagani Huayra has been sculpted by the team at Slightly Mad Studios for this racing title. As the car drives onto the game’s tracks, players will have the opportunity to flaunt their driving skills in this elegantly designed 700 HP engine-powered vehicle. It will also boost the intensity of the race by allowing gamers to ride at over 230 mph speeds.

“For the past seven years, the designing of the Huayra has been a labor of love and I’m ecstatic to be working with the entire Need for Speed team to help share our creation with the world,” explained Horacio Pagani, Founder of Pagani Automobili S.p.A. “I’m amazed by how accurately they have been able to capture the look and, most importantly, the feel of the Huayra. Shift 2 Unleashed will give enthusiasts all over the world the opportunity to get behind the wheel of the Huayra.”

The upcoming title will equipped with the popular Autolog feature which made its debut in Need for speed Hot Pursuit. This attribute enables players to immerse in a socially connected environment as they zoom past other during online races. It also makes it possible for gamers to keep a track of statistic match-ups for adding new layers and introducing intricate customization details. In addition, they can experience a dynamic engine and graphics overhaul while viewing authentically-designed surroundings through the innovatively placed helmet camera.

Shift 2 Unleashed will rush into stores across the European terrain on March 31, 2011 for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
